🎩TIPS: Two of the best ways for distance runners to prevent Bone Stress Injuries are Load Management and Strength/Plyometric training.

Load management is the practice of controlling the volume and intensity of exercise an athlete does to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. This is simple in theory, but hard in practice!

To Manage your Training Load, do the following:
✅Progress You Mileage Gradually: Increase your mileage and intensity incrementally to give your body time to adapt.
✅Monitor Fatigue: Pay attention to signs of fatigue and ensure you’re scheduling rest and recovery days.
✅Balance Workouts: Alternate hard and easy training days to prevent sudden spikes in training load which can increase your risk for injury.
